Did you recently add a baby to your family? Are you feeling overwhelmed? Are you having a hard time adjusting to the transition?
You are NOT alone! Giving birth can trigger various emotions ranging from joy and excitement to sadness, crying spells, fear, and anxiety. Postpartum depression/anxiety is not a weakness. It is a medical condition that needs to be treated.
Join our positive motherhood support group where you can feel safe and talk about your feelings and everyday challenges. Together, we will discuss physiological symptoms, sleep deprivation, breastfeeding, caring for baby, fulfilling chores in and out of the house, partner relationships, family support, older children, returning to work, etc. You will learn to identify self-care, your needs, and gain coping tools to help you adjust to your NEW normal.
The group will be meeting Saturday mornings at Compassionate Solutions. For more information, please contact Brenda.
